The creation of photographic panoramas is not new, however, free "Android" apps for virtual reality (VR) like "Cardboard" and "Cardboard camera" led to its widespread dissemination allowing any user to access this type of tools.
Visualising and sharing these photos in 360º is now also possible with a net application called "roundme" which allows, in addition to the panoramic view in the browser, VR mode for virtual reality glasses.
