Welcome you all to today's blog :) Today a, here going to write about the areca nut farming. I have some good knowledge of these things as that was our cultivation. Areca is a variety of fruit that is edible mostly people love to have these nuts along with beetle leaves. It moves like a coconut tree grows tall and shred its fruits after a certain age. These arecas start to give its fruit after 7-12 years of plantation.
You can see 3 years plant in the above image. Until the 7 years, we didn't get any income from that areca plants. So we have to do some other cultivations like banana, ginger, groundnut, black gram, etc inside the farm. Next, irrigation the farm require at least 2 irrigations in a month. I had seen flat ground type water flow method and canal type water flow method of farms.
