Wood Elves or Silvan Elves in the hierarchy of Tolkien are inferior to the Noldor or Sindar Elves; they are depicted as less wise and more hostile preferring the forest to the domains of other Elves. In close combat he is quite graceful but does not rely on flashy moves like some of the High Elven warriors might be expected to do, he is practical and efficient. He moves from ranged to close combat without any difficulty which is an indication that he might be a watchman in an area that may require close combat.

Another of his most recognizable combat skills is his ingenuity and in several of the scenes, he is portrayed as using whatever is available to him to fight and to defend himself as well as thinking on his feet. This ability to think on his feet and use his environment to his advantage is not something that some of the more formal elven warrior training would have prepared him for.

The Silvan Elf's journey in "The Lord of the Rings: Thus, “The Rings of Power” is a deep and complex story that enriches the series’ narration of Middle-earth. His role of Silvan Elf in the Southlands makes the show explore the issues of duty, love and relations between two cultures. By watching his stories, the viewers can learn about the complexity of the Elven society and the struggles of those, who are between two realities.
