I have been experimenting on making my own art style and medium. I used to make canvas with plywood and canvas cloth and then paint it with primer. But that takes too much time for me, especially that i still don't have the proper materials and tool to make a nice and clean canvas. So out of the blue, i remembered that i could just cut plywoods and paint directly on them. I believe that this will give an effect and texture on my artworks. I am not the only one who's been doing their piece on woods and these artists inspired me to be resourceful.
These are my paintings from scrapwoods:
"WHITEWASH"
Acrylic paint, gold leaf and colour pencils
"GOLD N' EYE"
Oil paint, gold leaf and acrylic paint paint
"WAKE WITHIN"
Oil paint and shattered mirror
I decided to place them on our garden to emphasize the medium used here.
I hope you like it.
