Sometimes it's fun to paint on things other than squares and rectangles, like masks! Painting on a mask makes me sort of feel a connection to the past, so many cultures have used masks for different reasons over the centuries. Rituals and parties, for fun and for religious and spiritual purposes. These are a few different ones I painted over the last few years. "Mixed & Masked" -This one is a bit of a mix of my mandala style and funky 80's inspired style.
"Cahokian Shaman" - This one was inspired by an article I read in National Geographic about Cahokia, a large pre-Columbian Native American city near St Louis, Missouri.
