This is how they get anything what they want, don’t they? Knowing they have messed up in some way and need you to remain calm. Cats definitely know some kind of sorcery and have mastered the art of charming you when required :D
I was more of a dog and puppy person when I was little and cats were scary to me. As a kid I had it in my mind that cats are evil and cunning while dogs are exactly the opposite. (Not to mention I was still scared of dogs) I once had a pretty traumatic experience when I was a tweenager, I think. I didn’t know that if dogs sense fear and get a “not supposed to be present at that place” vibe from you, you might get screwed. Well it happened to me and I ended up being chased by 4 large dogs for quite a distance.
And obviously I had a practical experience of the phrase “run for you life” lol. Anyway, fast forward a few years, I have gotten pretty good at befriending kitties and puppies, thanks to some incredible friends who were already pros then. Hahah. What about you guys? I would love to hear some stories :D
