I made this drawing in a time that I was training a lot, I remember it was a good time, I training every day seven days a week. Remembering those time now, I think my wife maybe wanted divorse me. I do not know, maybe yes or maybe not, in fact we are still married and with three kids.
Well, let´s talk about the drawing, what materials I used for this drawing? the materials were the followings:
- A graphite pencil.
- Color pencils of different brands.
- Watercolor.
- Brushes of different sizes.
- A cardboard.
- And my imagination.
I started to drawing the freehand sketch with my pencil in a cardboard imagining how was the dress of my litle samurai friend. I used the watercolors to put color to the drawing and as finally step I used the color pencils to give he the shadows and lightings.
It is a detail of the drawing:
Samurai were warriors that lived long time ago in Japan, they lived theirs life under a honor code called ¨BUSHIDO”. The Bushido Code has several precepts that until the actuality it has been using for people in Japan and those that are in Martial Arts.
