Occasionally I find myself working in a totally different direction to what I had anticipated. This is one of those occasions. 😂
So, I started of working on a portrait of this talented young lady. I changed my normal method and basically did a heavy underpainting as my base. The more and more I looked at it the more I liked it, and the less interested I was in replacing it. That is not to say that the underpainting is finished, I still plan to tidy it up a little and add some sharper detail. However I found that I wanted to do something a little different.
That's when I started drawing the grid. I wanted it to look like the drawing was made of squares and that these were uneven on the surface of the image. Why did I do this? No idea. But it was a bit of fun. I am sure I have seen this somewhere before I just can't remember where lol. Anyway, I thought I would post it and get your feedback before continuing.
What do you think? Yay or Nay? Thank you for taking a look!
