In Western Europe, owls are seen as a personification of wisdom, and before that, of wealth. In Germany we have a saying, "Eulen nach Athen tragen", which means as much as bringing owls to Athens, a place where they originally came from. Of course not real owls, but wisdom... and wealth. I find it fascinating how different such things are noticed in different places around the world. I love the outcome of your drawing!
