Ever Wondered how a Human-Human Would Look Like?...
...Well, have a look!
A friend of mine, Pan Kamil, from the norther lands of Poland. He is completely charmed by alpacas. Don't ask me why (I think it is related with the fact that he looks like one, but shh).
So he asked me to draw him a portrait of an alpaca. And I had even a better idea: how about drawing an hybrid between a human and an alpaca??
But then something even better came along:
how about making my buddy as an alpaca??
Yes, it just happened.

I don't know how many of you actually know how an alpaca looks like, for those, here you go!
I gotta admit that they are pretty adorable (if you don't take in consideration the fact that they spit in your face pretty often).
So well... yeah, they also funny! If you take them for your designs, I assure you will have a lot of fun by using them as reference. So much fur everywhere !!
I know that my design is pretty loose, but this is what a practice of design should look like. You don't really need to go so deep into rendering if your idea seems pretty clear. I just like to stay loose and let the eye fill the gaps ;).
As for the process...
...I think it is pretty funny to see how it all started indeed, because it looked nothing like the final result at the beginning!
This is something that always happens to me... although I must admit one thing: I am really, really proud of my values.
Because, you know... sometimes values are a bitch. It can get really hard to get just the right gray. Because there are so many things playing different roles at same time in your artwork that also play all together. Such as texture,
different tones from one or another element, light and shadow. And I could continue.
Still, it was really fun and maybe one of these days Kamil will join us to Steemit! Hopefully soon. If that happens, my fellows, I will introduce him to you so you can check his cool artworks out!!
Thanks a lot for your support and I see you in the next one!

I always try to listen to the ideas of my fellow followers to improve my posts and to give something back to the community... therefor: What would you like the next posts to be about? What should I talk about? What kind of painting? Would you like some tutorials about arts, about cooking? Maybe some fresh gaming broadcast? I would love to know!
I apologize if I don't reply to your message. Sometimes I can't find enough time for it. But you can be sure that I will read it!
Bye!
