DIGITAL ART - Painting hands

I decided to take one of my daily sketches a bit further and turn it into a painting!

On DAY 19 of my sketching challenge, I sketches these hands! Now I decided to go a step further. First I painted the base colors of the hands on a layer below the sketch layer. After that I started cleaning up the edges and merged the layers, this way I could start blending and smooth out the skin of the hands.
Once the base was all set and I like the lighting and colors, I started working on the smaller details.

I worked in Procreate on my iPad Pro. I think it took about an hour total, not sure though. I always lose track of time when painting ;)
