My work got published
I was pretty surprised when I found out my work and story got published on My Modern Met, I found out when a journalist reached out to me after seeing the story, pretty cool!
It felt a bit weird reading it all, as if I was interviewed by them. But it was fun nonetheless :) And anyway, it enables me to reach more people and hopefully get published more often. I still dream of making a living of my art :)

Here's a short bit of it:
Whether you’re an established artist or an aspiring one, you’ll know that practice makes perfect. And thanks to the Internet, you no longer have to attend art school to learn how to draw or paint. There’s now an abundance of online drawing tutorials with talented artists sharing their how-tos, letting you learn for free. One artist to share her secrets is Netherlands-based Floortjes, who creates hyperrealistic digital paintings.
Using a drawing tablet, iPad, and mix of programs including Procreate and Photoshop, Floortjes often sets herself (and her audience) time restrictive challenges. Whether speedily sketching her subjects in just a matter of seconds, or revisiting drawings to slowly build up detail, the talented artist illustrates that it takes time to perfect your craft. “I love practicing by doing speed challenges. It forces you to really look at the basics of a subject and not go into detail too much,” she reveals on Instagram. Floortjes encourages her followers by posting daily drawing tips, saying, “Don't give up! Keep practicing everyone."
