This 8*12 Original Multimedia Painting was created to celebrate diversity. I wanted to show that women of color are powerful in their natural hair, and can also be alternative, fashion-forward, timeless and mystical. I chose elements of tribal face markings to acknowledge the ancestors and the flower crown to denote femininity and grace. I used acrylic on canvas. The texture at the bottom is glitter and textured paint to create an element of 3D connection. Please enjoy
