James Bond the deadly British secret agent is finally ready to return to action in Bond 25. Through press releases, MGM and Eon announced the 25th series which still has no title to be released November 8, 2019 in the United States. As according to James Bond franchise tradition during this time, Bond 25 airing schedule in the United Kingdom will be slightly upgraded.
Unfortunately, in the middle of this announcement, the two Bond 25 production houses did not mention the status of Daniel Craig, who is still questionable whether to return as James Bond, the last post to appear on the Specters. But according to the latest news, Craig who has played four times Bond has signed a contract for two more films. If proven true, then Craig is included in the list of actors who hold the longest Bond role, following Roger Moore (seven times) and SeanConnery (six times)
Not yet known also a new distributor studio that coupled MGM and Eon, considering they did not renew the contract of cooperation with Sony Pictures. What is clear, there are some candidates who are reportedly competing to get the rights of Bond 25, including Warner Bros., Annapurna, Fox and Universal.
At the end of its press release, MGM and Eon ensure players, directors and distributors will be revealed at the next announcement. Meanwhile, the Bond 25 script itself is again written NealPurvis and Robert Wade. This became the fifth Bond film that the duo handled, having previously been involved in Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, Skyfall and Specters, all starring Craig.
With the release schedule of November 8, 2019, most likely the Bond 25 shooting process will roll in 2018. ■ UP
