I know this is starting to look like an obsession and tbh it's feeling a wee bit like it but had Tim Holtz's Pitch Black been a true black I probably would have gotten something else for my other Mother's Day present.
But it didn't and so here I am full circle to my original, first choice ink brand Brea Reese.
There was just something about them that drew me in. Maybe it's because they also made resin molds and it gave me the impression they would work much better with resin than other ink brands; or maybe because they give you more ink per bottle; or maybe because their Instagram page is so beautiful and vibrant?
Whatever the reason I guess Brea Reese and I were just meant to be.
As usual I opted to buy the packs because they're cheaper in packs. The difference between these packs and the Tim Holtz ones is that these, I don't think anyway, are meant to be used together. These colours are bundled together just cos.
For example. The Blacks Pack: Black, Slate & Fog
I've been a bit busy lately and havent had a chance to make swatches for all of them but I have done the blacks and I'm happy to report the Brea Reese Black is a true, no messing around, intense black.
Can't wait to try them all though. I'm wondering if they will all be super pigmented?
