Hey guys! I drew this picture a while back for a group I was in on a community. We would post weekly and it was My job to upload fanart of different anime character once every month. So here is one I did, being of Shikamaru and Asuma from Naruto. Shikamaru was actually my favourite character (along with Sai) in the series, due to his intelligence and the realism I felt from his character compared to how everyone else feeling more fantasy like. I think it was his early ideals that sealed this and carried to throughout the rest of the series. I always liked Asuma, his death was no surprise, but it was still very sad. It was a necessary event for our boy Shikamaru to griw up into an adult and learn that people can be lost and that he had people to protect. Love these characters.
