I've been to Israel 4 times and I've taken many photos which I have later used as reference for oil paintings. This is typical tour boat used on the Sea of Galilee (Lake Kinneret) in Israel. This painting was sold to a couple who was on a tour of Israel and they met on a tour boat like this one on the Sea of Galilee, so this painting has a special meaning for them. I really enjoyed painting this subject.
