Today we are pouring gorgeous turquoise hues with a little light ochre complement. The idea is, to evoke a „vacation by the sea“-feeling in the viewer. Please watch:

All the paints – except the white base coat – had a drop of silicone oil mixed in. What I wanted originally was a bit of a foam effect, but what I got upon „flambéing“ were more cells than I knew what to do with! In retrospect it would have been a better idea to leave the siclicone out of it. Oh well, live and learn...
Still, I like to think I got a visually interesting piece out of this exercise, and I'm just a sucker for any shade of blue! What do you think? Please let me know in the comments below.
