Hi Steemians, and a special shout out to any South Park fans!
My first encounter with South Park was when I was in primary school. My dad would flick through the channels and when he settled on South Park and heard Eric Cartman's verbal rage, he instantly switched to the next channel.
My next encounter was only a year ago, when my boyfriend re-introduced the show to me. It is honestly one of my all time favourite shows - never fails to make me laugh. We would binge watch it together and it quickly became a ritual in our relationship.
I decided to create a watercolour painting for him - inspired by South Park, featuring Randy (one of his favourite characters) and member berries!
OK SO, I'M DEFINITELY NOT AN ARTSY INDIVIDUAL.
But I decided to attempt my first proper watercolour artwork and try and let the creative juices flow. I would either be surprised or amused - a clear win win situation!
I started off with a rough pencil sketch:

And here's how it turned out!
There are definitely some sections I would go back and redo but overall I'm happy with how it turned out. I'll be sure to continue painting whenever I need some down time and gradually learn some tips and tricks :)
