The above is a picture from the coloring book Po drugiej stronie snu by Karolina Kubikowska. I used watercolor pencils. I feel I'm slowly becoming more adept with these. I have the small twelve pack of koh i noor Mondeluz pencils. Always been a big fan of koh i noor a and these are no exception. Now to upgrade to the larger set, because 12 just aint cutting it.
I started with a small set to see if I would even like it. The following imagery is other things I've watercolored, but the roses are my best work. In order the first is just a dabbling of mine that kinda looks like outdoor hanging lights, the other two are from mindful color and DC Comics Wonder woman coloring book. (Side note - i eventually plan to have the whole back of toys clipboard covered )

I love art and I'm an avid colorist looking into and dabbling with more advanced things. It's a very therapeutic and fun process.
So far a few little beginer/novice tricks:
- buy yourself a cheap variety pack of brushes in all sizes. You'll be glad you did. Learned that the hard way.
- don't use too much water - it will buckle the paper, learned that the hard way too
- laying your color down first then dipping your brush in the water and going over it is the best way FOR ME though some dip the pencil in the water
