En esta ocasión, después de una involuntaria ausencia, decidí retratar al famoso Jack Sparrow de Piratas del Caribe, Esta obra me tomó 2 semanas enteras trabajando a diario, empecé con algunos colores que me quedaban aún, como algunos sabrán me había quedado prácticamente sin materiales, aunque gracias a un gran regalo hecho por sra.antropofagia pude completar la obra sin mayor contratiempo ¡acá el proceso!
On this occasion, after an involuntary absence, I decided to portray the famous Jack Sparrow of Pirates of the Caribbean, This work took me 2 whole weeks working daily, I started with some colors that I still had, as some will know I had practically left without materials , although thanks to a great gift made by sra.antropofagia I was able to complete the work without major setback. Here the process!

El boceto lo hice con lápices 6H para comenzar, pero debido al tiempo que me tomó terminar la obra, algunas zonas se borraron y tuve que dibujarlas de nuevo en un par de ocasiones con lápices mas oscuros. El fondo lo hice el primer día de trabajo con lápices de colores azul, negro, gris, amarillo y naranja.
The sketch I did with 6H pencils to start, but due to the time it took me to finish the work, some areas were erased and I had to draw them again a couple of times with darker pencils. The background I did the first day of work with blue, black, gray, yellow and orange pencils.
En esta obra lo más complicado a mi parecer fue pintar el cabello, para comenzar, antes de aplicar el color, hice las texturas fuertemente con un lápiz 6h y luego apliqué un borrador para limpiar el área, cuando apliqué el color las lineas marcadas con el lápiz quedaron en blanco dando la impresión de cabello. Parte de la ropa la hice del mismo modo ya que también contenía bastante textura. El pañuelo rojo que se ubica en la zona de la cabeza fue un poco mas sencillo, lo pinté con colores rojo, negro, naranja, amarillo y terracota.
In this work the most complicated in my opinion was to paint the hair, to begin, before applying the color, I made the textures strongly with a pencil 6h and then I applied an eraser to clean the area, when I applied the color the lines marked with the Pencils were left blank giving the impression of hair. I made part of the clothes in the same way since it also contained a lot of texture. The red handkerchief that is located in the area of the head was a little simpler, I painted it with red, black, orange, yellow and terracotta colors.
El rostro fue sencillo de pintar aunque tuve que corregirlo en un par de ocasiones, ya que no contaba con tanto detalle me tomó alrededor de 6 horas terminarlo, es poco tiempo comparado con los días que le dediqué a otras áreas del dibujo. Luego continué con la zona del pecho y la barba, aquí en donde hice la mayor cantidad de correcciones ya que las lineas que dibujé con anterioridad se habían borrado casi por completo.
The face was simple to paint although I had to correct it a couple of times, since I did not have so much detail it took me about 6 hours to finish it, it is a short time compared to the days I dedicated to other areas of the drawing. Then I continued with the area of the chest and the beard, here where I made the greater amount of corrections since the lines that I drew previously had been erased almost completely.
Para terminar, pinté la zona del cabello que faltaba usando la misma técnica de marcar las texturas con el lápiz primero y usando un borrador luego, solo que usando trazos circulares y cortos, y el último detalle para darle realismo a la obra, fue hacer coincidir el brillo de la ropa con la iluminación del fondo, en especial en la zona del hombro. Con esto di por concluida una obra que me tomó dos semanas enteras...
To finish, I painted the area of hair that was missing using the same technique of marking the textures with the pencil first and using an eraser later, only using circular and short strokes, and the last detail to give realism to the work, was to match the brightness of the clothes with the background lighting, especially in the shoulder area. With this I concluded a work that took me two whole weeks...
