Previously I have mixed landscape shots and created alien or unreal scenery, with the goal to not necessarily create an off-world looking environment but a balance of colour. Easy on the eyes, psychedelic and fluid. A re-presentation of nature.

Lately I have been combining some of my scenic shots (the macro) with my up close insect/plant shots (the micro). Some of the original shots used in these images you can find in my introduction post.

Contest

I haven't found much digital art yet on steemit, and with few followers I am unsure about how much support this will receive; I would like to run a contest for the photographers who dabble in digital art. This rounds theme being "The Micro and the Macro".

In the sharing spirit of Steemit, I will send 1 STEEM to the first 10 reputable entrants and share 10% of this posts SBD payout with the highest voted entry.

Valid entrants must:
-Have a good reputation and verifiable post history
-Use their own original photos/images
-Stick to the theme
-Post entry to comments
-Link to full size image
-Use a reputable image host

Entry should be a standard wallpaper size, but is not necessary.
