Recently, one of the courses in my field of study required us to create a conceptualized colour wheel. In other words, we were required to create a colour wheel with our own personal design implemented into it.
Basically, a COLOUR wheel is as the name suggests a circle that basically shows all the colours that can be found. It's often consists of the primary colour (blue, red and yellow), the secondary colours(purple, green and orange) and finally the intermediate colours(blue-purple, blue-green, red-purple, red-orange, yellow-orange and yellow-green).
A full colour wheel may also consists of the tertiary colours.
In conceptualizing my colour wheel, i decided to design my own colour wheel in the shape of a peacock.
STAGE 1
DRAWING THE OUTLINE OF THE PEACOCK
This is the first thing done after stretching your paper. The outline of the peacock is done and then divided into the necessary size for each colour.
STEP 2
APPLYING THE FERMENTED PAINT INTO THEIR AREAS
In this step, the primary colour along with the tint, tone and shade are painted where required.
This is done gradually until the work is done.
STEP 4
FINISHING
This basically involves framing the work with a black background
.... Wouldn't mind you checking this out
Criticism welcomed
