I've been looking forward to making this post because Renoir is one of my favourite painters. I went to an exhibition of his work when I was studying to be a teacher. It totally blew me away! I hope you will enjoy his paintings as much as I do.
Here are some more of my favourites:

Dance in Bougival

When I was studying to be a teacher, I had to do an assignment about the value of copying work by renowned artists.
Here is my copy done in pastels of a detail of 'Dance in Bougavil':

Sleeping Girl (also known as Girl With Cat)

I hope you can see why and how much I admire Renoir!
A Little About the Artist, Renoir
Pierre-Auguste Renoir (1841 - 1919) was an 'Impressionist'. He painted ordinary people in day-to-day situations with such flair and beauty that it takes my breath away.
Wikipedia says,
"Impressionism is a 19th-century art movement characterized by relatively small, thin, yet visible brush strokes, open composition, emphasis on accurate depiction of light in its changing qualities (often accentuating the effects of the passage of time), ordinary subject matter, inclusion of movement as a crucial element of human perception and experience, and unusual visual angles."
