Hi there Steemians!
Its been many days passed since the last time I posted here because of many reports in school and also busy in work. Today I would like to introduce to you guys my 2nd colour pencil portrait, this is my birthday gift to the one of my close friend in school. It was September 19 when I promised to her that I will make her a portrait, but because of laziness, busy in everything so I forgot my promise. But now I will show to you guys and also to my friend a piece of art , a beginner in colour pencil but trying my the best of creating it.
here is my steps guys.
the first step, I created a grid lines to make a sketch of her face. I'm not good in free hand that's why I used grid lines most of the time.
then, I started to color i first is her eyes and the skin near from it. I used the color black, red, flesh, brown, dark brown and yellow.
next is coloring the whole face
after the coloring of her face, I decided not to finalize the coloring of her face because I would like to test if I did copied all details of her picture after I colored everything, so I decided to proceed in the hair in the 1 side.
then the next side of the hair and finalizing the details. I may not copied her skin tone but it is near to the original picture. I only have 24 colors of pencils that's why in getting the skin tone is difficult for me.
