Hello!
Today you will find out what happened to the Glorious Godfrey after trying to process the inhabitants of Metropolis.
The action takes place on New Earth. Darkseid manages to protect the entire Apokolips from the consequences of the "Crisis on Infinite Earths".
Under the guise of the psychologist G. Gordon Godfrey, the main character comes to one of the important evening enterprises of Gotham in the "Wayne estate", where he meets James Gordon, Bruce Wayne and Roberta Valle, who turned out to be a hater of his speeches. Godfrey declares that James and Bruce are stupid and cowards who gave the city into the hands of costumed heroes who will lead Gotham to destruction. Also, the Glorious Godfrey says that because of Batman, villains constantly appear, but Wayne, Gordon and Roberta desperately defend the hero of Gotham. The main character warns the commissioner that one day the residents of the city will turn against him. Valle quickly puts Godfrey in his place. In anger, the Glorious Godfrey knocks over the tray and accidentally spills the drink on Roberta. The main character continues to try to set everyone up against the heroes. After some time, a distraught Valle comes running. When James tells everyone to evacuate, Godfrey notices Batman and exposes him as an attacker.
A few days later, the main character organizes a rally, setting up all the inhabitants of Gotham against the heroes and tells them to kill them.
The next day, Godfrey learns that Batman and Robin were present at his rally.

On Apokolips, Uxas summons the main character and Doctor Bedlam, known as Macro-Man. Darkseid tells the latter to start Operation Submission. Her goal is to make people turn against the heroes and obey the will of the ruler of the Apocalypse.
NOW
A few weeks later, a young TV presenter Billy Batson interviews the main character in San Francisco. Godfrey calls superheroes time bombs and declares that they need to be eliminated or put in place, since for him people can handle everything themselves. Because of the heroes, villains appeared. Billy tries to refute this, but the main character continues to call superheroes a threat. All this is happening live. When Bedlam attacks the studio, thereby cutting off all the electricity in the city, Gordon, chasing Batson, sees how he becomes Captain Marvel. After contacting Darkseid, Godfrey tells him the latter's real name. The main character sees that Billy's lightning kills Bedlam and several other people. Seeing reporter Gwyneth Tate at the crime scene, Gordon volunteers to give an interview. Using the facts, Godfrey continues to turn people against superheroes on the air.
Later, the protagonist learns that his influence has spread to the entire planet, and President Reagan, being under the same influence, calls on all superheroes to stop their public activities until the chaos caused by Darkseid calms down. On the air, Gordon supports Ronald's decision and hits the weak points of the heroes harder.
A few days later, Godfrey gets a call from his loyal assistant Jack Sawyer and says that he and his men almost killed Hawk and Firestorm, but they managed to escape. The main character tells Jack to demand that the city in which he is located give all the books related to the heroes. Then they need to burn these books. Sawyer and his men must ignore the police and the guard, or challenge them.
Later, Gwyneth Tate interviews Gordon again. Godfrey's opinion remains adamant.
A few weeks later, after learning that the heroes are still breaking the law, the main character returns to Gotham and, live on air, begins to turn people against President Reagan and offers to merge with the Apokolips Warhounds and become Peacemakers. Most people agree.
A few days later, Gordon is staying at the Metropolis Grand Hotel.
Later, the journalist Lois Lane comes to him. She starts asking Godfrey about his opinion about superheroes. The main character manages to convince Lois that the heroes are dangerous and must disappear.
Days pass. Gordon is holding a rally in the center of Metropolis. On the air, Godfrey praises his followers for promoting the war across America and decides to show them what happens to those who oppose him. People bring the bound Captain Boomerang. Everyone offers to kill the Digger in different ways, but he begins to threaten. Perceiving Harkness' threat as petty, the main character asks to take him away. Gordon tells his followers to head to Washington and overthrow the government.
Near the Lincoln Memorial, Godfrey tells his people to destroy all the memorials of old America in order to build a new one on its ruins. He is interrupted by Doctor Fate (Kent Nelson), who moves the heroes here who spit on the presidential decree. These superheroes are:
- Batman (Bruce Wayne)
- Black Canary (Dinah Laurel Lance)
- Blue Beetle (Ted Cord)
- Captain Marvel
- Changeling
- Flash (Wally West)
- Green Lantern (Guy Gardner)
- Superman
They are also unexpectedly joined by a Martian Manhunter. The glorious Godfrey tells his Warhounds and the horde of Parademons, whom he has just moved to Earth, to deal with the heroes. One of the Parademons tears off Kent's "Doctor Fate helmet". Taking advantage of this battle, the main character quietly escapes. He finds Captain Boomerang and, activating the Warhounds, begins to extract information about the Suicide Squad from him. A second later, someone blows up the Warhounds. Fearing for his life, Gordon escapes. He is stopped by a Bronze Tiger. Fortunately, Godfrey lures Benjamin to his side with his voice. The heroes get rid of the Parademons and try to convince the main character's people, but he tells them to kill the superheroes. Suddenly the children and Robin run out and try to convince people. Deciding to shut up the kids, Gordon punches the girl Lisa Sutton. This makes people doubt Godfrey and he decides to use the helmet of Doctor Fate so that his followers will not go astray for sure. Unfortunately, the helmet roasts the main character's brain.
Waking up with the mind of a vegetable, the Glorious Godfrey realizes that he is sitting in a prison cell. Fortunately, the Female Furies rescue the main character from prison and move him back to Apokolips.
I hope you enjoy it.
