The action takes place on Earth 41. Rodney is attacked by the Nimrod Squad. In its composition:
- Fletch
- Flintstein
- Kal'amity
- Point Break
- Sepulchre
- The Scorpion
- Spore
- Vague
The Spore quickly calms the Squad, saying that the person responsible for the appearance of rot in their world is not a Rabbit, but an Annihilator (41). The heroes decide to use all the forces of this world to destroy the instigator.
Over the next few days, Captain Carrot and the Squad team up with the Cyborg Corps (41) and a team called WildC.A.T.s (41). As part of the penultimate:

As part of the latter:
- Maul
- Spartan
- Warblade
- Zealot
The heroes discover that the Annihilator, using a crack, enhances its power. During the battle, Avery, Batman, President Superman and Doctor Multiverse are transferred to the main character. Darkseid is also moving to this Earth. When Maya tries to close the crack, the Annihilator disappears. Uxas says that Chamara is only holding back the crack. Possessed by an unknown force, Doctor Multiverse tearfully announces that the heroes must let Darkseid win.
