Hey, steemians!
So, I want to share about my experience in music.
I've been learning what's the basic pattern used to harmonize the song with some notes.
I used to do this in guitar or keyboard for finding notes by listening to the songs.
Basically, I just learn about Do = C as the easiest part to play. You can change whatever to D or others.
If you choose C, then Do Re Mi Fa Sol La Si is C D E F G A B
For Better :
Do Re Mi Fa Sol La Si
C D E F G A B
There is usually major and minor pattern for basic.
the note gets higher 2 fret/1 note or 1 fret/0.5 note. I mean like C to D is 1 note or 2 fret (if in guitar) and E to F is 0.5 (1/2 note) or 1 fret move.
Here is the major pattern : 1 1 1/2 1 1 1 1/2
Major is like this : C D E F G A B
Here is the minor pattern : 1 1/2 1 1 1/2 1 1
Minor is like this : Am Bm Cm Dm Em Fm Gm Am
Then, the combination I used to find notes is like this :
C D Em F G Am Bm
The Major one is at 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th position.
The Minor one is at 3rd, 6th and 7th position.
So, how's about 7 dominant?
I usually see or play like this C D E7 F G Am Bm
