Dear friends
In that work depicting a sorceress who protects her forest wealth. She does not part with her magical owl. According to my idea, the main character descends to the top of the slope where a forest animal was killed. Seeing even from a distance an arrow into the animal's body, she realizes that the strangers came. Preparing to defend her home, she revealed the power of her magic stones. These stones give her unprecedented power, which inspires fear even to the sorceress. All because even she can hardly control her. h4

Creation process
Since I really like to draw in my sketchbook, I first made a freehand sketch. After which I photographed it and sent it to Photoshop. After that and up to the last stage of the whole work in Photoshop was made.
Figure 1. Working in Photoshop with a drawing that was made in a sketchbook.
Figure 2. In the first version, there was no dynamics, so I took a step back and made another sketch, but already in Photoshop.
Figure 3. Here I used the basic colors, at the initial stage I always trying to make the light balance as best as possible.
Figure 4. Since I did not save the process of drawing such a long stage, showing the process after deep detail.
I made this stage as practical as possible for me. Namely, at this stage, I used the maximum of my knowledge of anatomy, color, composition, etc. In other words, I did not use references here and everything was drawn from my imagination.
What do you think about this work? Do you like? I didn't really like this result.
I realizing that I can get the most from this female figure. I used references, made realistic brushes for hair, as well as for clothes.
My first big mistake was the use of cold colors for her skin when on the contrary she had to be warm. Also, the anatomy of the face, I also worked with her.
And of course the background, I completely reworked it inspired by the painting of Russian artists of the 19th and 21st centuries. I also painted stones in the foreground without references, there were no difficulties with this.
Final result
I hope you enjoyed my work!
