Today I have finished another in my series of Game of Thrones characters as Dogs with the very intentional play on words "Game of Bones". Here we have Ayra Stark .
I have made her as a Rottweiler puppy, but I think it looks very like a Tibetan Mastiff puppy as well as a German Sheppard puppy or even a doberman puppy. Really, I used the concept of the Rotty puppy, as she seemed the appropriate breed for Ayra, and then saw that a few breeds with the black and tan coloring do look very familiar as puppies. This way, perhaps, owners of those breeds could feel she is represented in their favorite way.
I think this one works quite well on the various things I do sell my artwork on, such as the classic T shirts. I make sure to keep the writing on these with a good backing color as I know many people like darker shirts, like Black. I like the longer sleeve tees as well.
I made the usual repeat, which looks pretty good on things, like the pillow, and I also used the lettering without a backing for things like mugs and bags.
And I think it still holds up to framed are scrutiny, at least I do like it framed. Although it is also available just as a print too.
And is it any wonder that my artwork is mostly peopled with animals and especially dogs, when I have these two darlings to keep me company.
Although, my little Chi, Monty (Montgomery Burns to be exact) is usually not impressed. His usual position whilst mummy makes art.
