Lebron James, for me is one of the best NBA players in this generation. No one can deny how he has contributed to the entire NBA and basketball history. Thus, it is only imperative that we show him some love regardless of the recent outcome of 2018 NBA Playoffs.
Today, I will show you how to paint a Lebron James portrait using Canson paper.
Enjoy my masterpiece, everyone!

I have reference images which I combined to be able to come up with the painting showed above. Here are the images I used:
The Process
Outlining and Drawing of the Base Image
First, it is important that you will be able to establish a base image which will be your guide to be able to achieve the target image. This determines the familiarity of the image and the similarity of this image to the reference one.
Do Not Forget the Small Details
Most of the time, the small details such as the beard, the shading or even as small as a mole can help to be able to distinguish your subject from the rest. So, make sure that you do not forget these tiny little things.
Choose the Best Color for the Background for Proper Highlighting Later
For this painting, I chose the light color yellow to be able to properly emphasize the skin color and complexion later on.

Timelapse - Process Video
I have also prepared a timelapse video which you can view both in DLive and Youtube. However, if you are so excited to see it, you can check the video below.
