I was doing some cleaning and rearranging of some storage areas I have neglected for some time. I came across some old computer stuff I had stashed away.
I came across a CD of Jasc Paint Shop Pro 8. I bought this sometime around 2003 maybe earlier but not sure. So I had a crazy thought and pulled out my old laptop that still had a CD drive in it. Dropped in the CD and see if it would install on Windows 10.
Success! Installed with no issues.
Boy did it bring back memories of my early days on the world wide web. Not going to lie, it was good to see an old friend that got me to the next level of web content.
As I kept going through my things, I found this gem:
This book took me from just poking and prodding to figure out how things worked to being pretty proficient with the software. Yeah I have the manual, but that was so hard to read and didn't really show HOW to do certain tasks.
Now , software has so much more power and features that Paint Shop Pro seems like an ancient relic. But at the the time, it really was a nice piece of software.
