White Charcoal-Dalmatian
When talking about charcoal, for a lot of people black charcoal comes into the mind first. I would even say for the most people. We consider charcoal black. Chalk. Fire, Wood. Than connects to the black colour immediately.
For me it was like that too, since i was drawing and writing dark on white all the time. As a kid and later i knew this contrast more. I was used to it and my eyes like it. It is satisfying to write with a black pen on a white paper sheet. Oddly enough, it gives a good feeling.
When later I discovered that I can get white charcoal pencils, I tried something else. I tried to create something white-on something dark. Firstly I tried white charcoal, and then i tried even salt anr sugar. Some f those works worked out really well. II have already shared those here on Steemit somewhere too.
Until this day this below is the last white charcoal drawing I have made. A dalmatian. I really beautiful dog. one which I wanted to have when i was a child and now too. When I got my current dog, which is a Alaskian malatute and rotweiler mix, I was actually considering getting a dalmatian. I think they are something still undiscovered in this world. Something still unique and out of this world I would say. Their look, their natural personalities are incredible. I have met some of them in my life and they are awesome dogs.
