Drawing human portraits is a tricky thing. I have noticed that there are two types of people. Some want to have a realistic portrait. Extremely realistic, sometimes even better than the photo itself, if one was given, and others want to have caricatures.
I am not doing caricatures at the moment and many many people have asked me if i do them. Like around 100 people every year are requesting those from me but i always decline because i actually have never tried to do them. I have drawn cartoons but it is something completely different. Most of the works i am doing every year works are never actually publish. They are commissioned and simply can not publish them. I only publish they if i get a permission from that particular person. Some works are so good that i want to show the, just also for marketing purposes too.
Works like this are taking most of my time in a year and it is like the black work i do under all the shiny art pieces i publish. The good thing is that they keep me sharp and i can practise and i never loose my i can call it "touch".
I included a link to my verification post, that all of the content posted here are done by me: https://steemit.com/art/@edgarsart/edgarsart-original-art-now-verified
