White charcoal pencil- costs more than average graphite pencils. Hard to erase and smudges like hell.
On the other hand, it has been one if the best mediums i have worked with. There is something special to it. It is something completelly diffrent compared to other pencils. Just practically, the way it draws the lines and it is much softer than dark charcoal. It does not really scratch the paper and you can even push as hard as you want and it is very hard to damage the surface. Also i have noticed that it takes much more time to use one white charcoal pencil compared to how much you can draw with a dark one. For example,in two identical works with the same size i can use up half less pencils than i would need if i would be drawing with dark charcoal. So i think it is equal if we are looking at the costs of each type of charcial pencils.
To make an example i choose this Lion drawing i did with white charcoal. Sold the work shortly after i made it. To England, which is the numbet one place if we are looking at where i have sent my works the most.
