So, some news came out of SDCC recently and one of them was that Taika Waititi is back to direct another THOR! More than that, Natalie Portman's still Jane Foster! And more than that, she will be wielding Mjolnir?!?
If you're not a comic fan, you wouldn't know this but a year ago Marvel comics actually released issues where a woman holds the title of THOR in their runs. Not THORA, but THOR.
Looks like the movie universe is going to follow suit?
