My First Apple

Those of you who are following me and reading my posts know I'm learning to draw. Two years ago I made a couple of drawings using YouTube videos as tutorial. Today I decided to draw something which is not for a contest. Hive account@agneslaczo gave me a couple of ideas and I'm planning to put them on paper but first I need to learn some basics.

My biggest problem (beside the fact that I have exactly zero talent :P) is that I have to learn to work with shades. And of course to draw people and faces :D

Ok, jokes aside, I chose a video to draw an apple and below you can see the result. What can I say? It's a start. I see the mistakes I made and now I know I need proper pencils and learn how to use them.
