Hello friends!
As you know, "normal people" by the end of the year are trying to finish all the important things, sort out all their dusty ideas and break into a new period of life with renewed vigor.
It's never worked for me.
All my ideas and plans always passed with me into a new period, and new projects always started towards the end of the year. Yes, friends, it seems progress has reached even the most convinced artists like me.
Therefore, I turn to digital illustrations in small steps. Six months ago, when I was presented with a graphics tablet, I resolutely refused this idea.
Why? Because I couldn't feel all the "magic" of drawing and the intimate moment of merging myself with my characters. Every stroke is important to me, if you know what I mean.
All my attempts to switch to the digital space suffered a complete fiasco, I got angry and gave up what I started because I caught myself thinking: "I don't draw, damn it, I choose the thickness of the brush and the next shade of color!"
And now, just a few days ago, a miracle happened. I carefully took out my present and decided to try it. I always wanted to draw animals, very bright, funny and understandable, but colored pencils and watercolors never gave the effect that I unexpectedly got from working on a graphics tablet!
To be honest, I'm even starting to like it. My lines are not very confident yet, but I feel like I'm on the verge of important artistic endeavors, lol.
If artists read me, then who did you have a similar situation?
Tell me about this wonderful transition and your experiments, please)
