Today, I'm starting to re-discover my passion for drawing. It's a long lost hobby of mine that was taken over by my current hobby which is "digital art". The truth is that traditional method is still the best form of art and nothing can surpass it, at least in my eyes.
It's easier said than done, and for this first take - it really gave me a hard time. My hand had difficulty handling the pen that I used. Most of the time it's shaky and it was not easy to control. Anyway, let me present to you the final result & the photo reference, side-by-side.

I chose to feature Sean's, because he's been supporting my work since the day I discovered his feed. We share the same passion in photography and his amazing work made me follow his daily posts. On his latest post which you can find here: "Crypto Utopia", the amazing candy colors inspired me to recreate an artwork that have the same appeal as the 1950's pop art. I think the colors fit well with style. Here is the final result:
Materials
Aside from the sketch pad, the main materials used are markers from Copic Ciao, although it's my first time to use these I immediately fell in love with it. It's comfortable to use and have two types of tip: flat wide tip and a soft brush tip. I've used both tips for the application of colors.
