Ever started out a project with so much confidence, only to end up throwing it in the trash?
It might be a poem, a short story or an art work, that was coming out great and you decided to switch things up, but messed it up.
I've had so many fails, in my art journey. I can tell you i learnt a great deal from my failures, i learnt how to do things better.
So here are pictures of my art that ended in the trash, and a little description of what went wrong.
- Used low quality pastels, that were extra dusty. Couldn't get the details to pop, it all looked blurry. Still a learner, when it comes to pastels.
- My first time using watercolours. I used my worn out brushes and they were definitely not for watercolours. I really should buy good brushes. And i'm still not good at drawing trees. Pretty sure that a lot of practice will make me better.
- A portrait of my sister, that didn't come out as expected. Wasn't feeling it, so i tossed it
- Don't show your roomies your unfinished work, especially if the work is a portrait of one of them. They don't know that beauty takes time
Well these aren't all of them, but i just decided to show you these ones.
