The concept of this modified human skull was a intermediate stage to these two Timetraveller paintings: Timetraveller and Timetraveller II. Very similar pieces are The Soulless Warrior and The Soulless Warrior II which are both based on a 3D-scan of an animal skull. To me this series is still not exhausted so expect new paintings of this kind!
