Hello everybody!
It's been a long time again with no posts, because of too much work!
But now its a bit more quiet :-) That's why I wanted to make some kind of color challenge.
I drew a sketch, and selected a picture from my visual documentation. I decided that I had to mix them, and use the color range of the reference picture to color the drawing.

A nouveau, je suis restée un moment sans poster, j'avais énormément de travail. Mais c'est plus calme depuis quelques jours. J'ai donc eu envie de faire un petit challenge couleur. J'ai fait un croquis rapide, et sélectionné une image de référence couleurs dans ma documentation. J'ai décidé de les mixer, et d'utiliser la gamme de couleurs de la photo pour colorier l'illustration.

I decided to begin with a green background, and work with bruhes at 70-90% opacity to let a little part of the green mix with the white of the face.
J'ai commencé avec un fond turquoise, et travaillé avec une brush à 70-90% d'opacité, pour que le fond se "mélange" un peu avec le visage et donne une touche de vert.
I added more and more details...
J'ai rajouté des détails...
At this point, I realized that it was a bit too flashy and too green. I changed the background to a more neutral color... I also added details, and a bit more contrasts with the levels balance.
A ce moment du travail, j'ai trouvé que le fond était un peu trop présent et l'ensemble trop flashy. J'ai donc opté pour une couleur plus neutre. J'ai également augmenté un peu les contrastes via la balance de niveaux.
