Hi, guys!
In this post I want to talk a few about my graphic art on example of my fan art series to the "Bioshock" game.
As most of my followers probably know I love artbooks a lot. I try to buy a new artbook at least once a month, and them I make a marathon of drawings, so-called fan art to practice and to understand how other artists created what they did. I use different mediums for it, sometimes the same as the creator used, but sometimes I do it in different medium on purpose (for example the original art was graphical, and I re-make it in watercolor). It's a really good practice, especially when you have no ideas of your own (creative crisis or just no mood).
This series of graphic art I created on the cheapest craft paper, I used faber castel sepia liners and edding white pen for it. Usually I started with rough pencil sketch to catch the general shapes, and then worked with liner. I do pure line art first, then I add shading. Afterwards I add white edding pen for highlights.
Drawing fantastic creatures is really my main passion. At the moment I plan to draw all the same in watercolor, or may be copic markers to try to imagine how they might look in color. The art in the artbook was digital, by the way, so here I'll be changing medium for the second time.
I wish you all the best and will be happy if you'll support me with vote:)
Love, Inber
