There's no sense in being hard hearted.....
..... well that is unless your heart is made of nuts and bolts !

I have an affection for Junk Yard Art. For some reason I always have. 30 years ago or so, I almost thought for a minute I would learn to weld and make some funky yard art myself.
That never happened.
Thankfully, some other folks didn't let anything stop THEM from doing it, so at least I get to buy a piece now and then.
Tammy Lee is one of those people.

Here is a link to her webpage. It's pretty new. She is also on Face book....

She not only makes some random pieces, like this one, but she also makes pieces by request using pieces of junk/tools/other things that belong or belonged to other people's loved ones. You contact her, then send the "stuff" for whatever you've agreed on and she makes an artistic, junkyard piece with it. She is in hot demand as by April of this year, she had all the requests she could do by this Christmas !
Here's a little close up of the top....

.... and the bottom.

While I was taking photos, I saw a penny on my table and thought it was just one of mine (since I didn't have my glasses on !).... but when I picked it up I found it to have a cross punched in it. Pretty neat I thought. I had not seen it when it dropped out during the unpacking.

I love it when other artists put surprises in the packages. I found a little niche that had a ledge that it fit into nicely for now.

Kind of looks like it was made to go there.

With or without it, I am loving this junkyard heart.
Pretty neat... huh? I hope it eventually can be described as the "first piece I bought" from Tam-I-Am....
Hope you are all doing well.
I love tha nuts-n-bolts out of ya !
