preface
In this blog I try to write down the search for the muse, hoping to better understand the rhythm of the creation, trying to tune the boundaries of my fantasy to the contours of the culture in which I live
Because every creative brain is looking for satisfaction.
The black hole during the search for the next creation I try to fill as much as possible with new information and knowledge. While I am mentally and physically surrounded with the nine muses.
While Miles Davis Kind with his album Kind Of Blue
stimulates my creative brain while reading the book fire from AHJ Dautzenberg.
Does the question arise spontaneously how do we interpret the 'form' of objects?
The search for the right form?
From our childhood we are forced to link words or terms to an image. While the very first teacher we ever had, words ape tree and so on are being taught to us. Our imagination freedom being limited, we begin to perceive things from our picture thinking instead of the actual perception.
Take three chairs and put them crossed. If you then try to draw it now, you will notice that the picture thinking will not help you to draw these chairs. You think too much about the word chair that is linked to the corresponding image of a chair (probably the image you were taught when you were a child)
Tip: if you do not try to draw the chairs but the space around the chairs. Then you will notice that drawing is now automatic.
What form will I take?
During the search for the right form for my latest creation, I came across a very unexpected form. A form in which the viewer can link multiple objects. And of which perhaps the matching object will immediately be recognized. But cultural and social contours will often refer to another object.
What do you see?
What did you see?
Perhaps some of us directly linked the form to the right object. But very likely none of you had seen that the object was a buttplug.
