I guess things are worth what people are willing to pay for it. And keep in mind that Steemit does not represent reality. It is a digital platform where people try to make a quick buck. If you are looking for "gallery art", there are mainly cool ones around. I don't think the real value of an art piece is why people come on Steemit. :)
