Chronicles Nocturnum

This is a vampire hunter comic project I worked on a few years back. A writer paid me to do all the line art and coloring. It was a hell of a project!
I take my hat off to comic book artists as I know how much blood, sweat, and tears goes into the making of a comic.

Here is the cover. Drawn with pen & ink and painted on Photoshop with my Wacom tablet.

In some ways, I prefer the plain ink drawing.

Here are the comics. The writer must have sold them at a few comic conventions.

This is one of the first pages. I can post more of the comic of people are interested.

That's Wendy Markland, the vampire hunting protagonist. Guess she's a bit like Buffy... I'm actually not too happy with the way I drew her. I could do a much better job now. I am however, really pleased with my digital painting on this picture. I really went to town on the pixel painting. I used lots of tricks on the old Photoshop CS. The smudge and dodge tools worked really well.
