In 2008 I for some strange reason I decided to take take a bus trip that went from London to Sydney. It took about 3 months to complete and there were ferries involved. There were a group of about 30 or so nutbags who decided to do this.
This is a drawing of Alan, the oldest Ozbus member who was in his 70s at the time travelling across the World in a bus when most of his contemporaries where travelling in a commuter bus to pick up a pension.
The bus sometimes had lengthy stretches where sleeping was the order of the day. I believe this photograph was taken somewhere between Isfahan and Zahedan, Iran. A very bleak desert landscape heading East to our next country, Pakistan and the town of Quetta, the semi lawless town close to the Pakistan/Afghanistan border.
