In New Zealand, there is a beach dotted with spherical rocks that, depending on our landscape parameters, seem out of place
They are known as Moeraki boulders, on the beach of Koekohe, New Zealand. They seem mysterious giant eggs that are not more than the result of patient erosion over millions of years, by waves and sand on rocks with a high component of calcite. The rocks, of course, inspired numerous legends, including Maori. The attention on these formations, remains even today, because of it, they are not easy pieces to find on the planet.
