I saw A Clockwork Orange when I was in high school, and it left an unnerving impression on me(and probably mentally scarred me as well 😂). Set in a not-too-distant dystopian future, young Alex leads a gang of thugs and commits acts of ultra-violence - and must deal with the unexpected consequences once he’s caught.

McDowell showed from a young age that he could play psychopathic pretty well, and has been continuing to do so brilliantly over his decades-long career.
